Three days in Paris: a first-timer itinerary

This plan groups nearby sights so a first Paris trip feels full without turning every day into a race across the city.

Book the fixed-time sights first

Choose one major timed attraction per day before adding tours. The Eiffel Tower recommends advance booking, especially in peak periods, and the Louvre recommends a timed reservation. Check official tickets first; use a marketplace when you specifically want a guided experience, bundle, or different cancellation terms.

Day 1: the Seine, central Paris, and an evening view

Start around Île de la Cité, walk the Seine toward the Louvre courtyard and Tuileries Garden, then continue toward Place de la Concorde. Keep the afternoon flexible for arrival delays. Reserve the Eiffel Tower or a Seine cruise for the evening only if your flight schedule leaves a safe buffer.
